The cello is crafted from aged spruce and maple tonewoods and finished with a golden-honey varnish. It is fitted with quality ebony pegs and a tailpiece with built-in fine tuners, making tuning easy and reliable and allowing players to spend more time learning and playing. The cello is strung with quality Larsen Original cello strings, which bring a bigger sound to the instrument, perfect for more confident beginners.

The Schroeder #30J is most suitable for students up to a fourth grade AMEB standard.
