The GEWA AU3 Violin is a great choice for progressing players moving into intermediate grades. German-engineered and professionally set up by our onsite luthiers here in Sydney, the AU3 produces a balanced tone that is neither too bright nor too dark. The sound leans warm while retaining clarity and refinement, giving the violin a pleasing level of projection for small-stage performances.

The AU3 is crafted from hand selected aged European spruce and maple tone woods and is finished with an amber varnish. Each instrument is beautifully handcrafted in China to GEWA’s exacting standards, before receiving a professional setup by our team of on-site luthiers in Sydney. The GEWA AU3 is fitted with ebony pegs and a tailpiece with built-in fine tuners, making tuning easy and reliable. The violin is strung with Larsen Aurora Violin Strings, offering an excellent balance of warmth, clarity, and performance for developing players.

The GEWA AU3 is most suitable for students up to a fifth grade AMEB standard.
