Paul Wiessmeyer Leather Mutes

The Leather mutes for orchestral stringed instruments reduce the volume while preserving the instrument's tonal richness. They are made of leather and offer two levels of muting: a full mute when placed on the bridge, and a softer, mezzo-piano effect when placed behind it. This unique design makes them ideal for historical performances, orchestral work, and practice where preserving tone is important.
