Since 1985 his son Wilhelm has been active in the company after completing his training at the Mittenwald School of Violin Making. Antonius Stradivarius, Cremona, 1700.’ It is also stamped ‘ERNST HEINRICH ROTH, Bubenreuth, Erlangen, H4-0258,’ \u0026amp; is based on a Stradivari cello model. The body measures 760mm along the back, 347mm across the upper bouts and 440mm across the lower bouts. The back is made from two pieces of highly flamed maple. The top is made of spruce with a straight grain. The cello has a good cover of golden to dark brown varnish, ebony fittings \u0026amp; a Wittner tailpiece. This cello is in excellent condition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOverall this cello has a big \u0026amp; powerful sound with superb resonance.
