The back is made from two pieces of well flamed maple. The top is made of spruce with a straight grain. The violin has been antiqued with a good cover of golden to dark brown varnish \u0026amp; ‘sonowood’ fittings. \u003c\/p\u003e \n\n\u003cp\u003eOverall this violin has a very well-rounded, powerful sound with great projection and a fast response time.
